tAVAX is a liquid staking token (LST) that extends the liquid staking concept to the Avalanche (AVAX) ecosystem. It aims to provide AVAX stakers with yield optimization and liquidity benefits.
Liquid staking allows users to stake their cryptocurrencies to earn rewards while still being able to use a tokenized version of their staked assets (LSTs) across various decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. This addresses the common issue of locked capital in traditional staking.
tAVAX is also planned to be integrated into Treehouse's Decentralized Offered Rates (DOR) ecosystem. This integration could potentially expand its utility and interconnectedness within the broader DeFi space.
